“Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest fort out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5

Bishop Ronny Davis is a humble man, dedicated first to God, to his family and to the people of God. As a young convert, he fasted and prayed diligently, hungry for God and His word. God saw the sincerity of his heart early on in his walk, and led him to begin a work in Oveido, Florida.

In 1978, Bishop Davis attended a tent revival in Orlando, Florida conducted by the late Apostle Johnnie Washington. He was greatly moved by Apostle Washington’s love and compassion for souls, and became a member of the Tabernacle of Prayer Fellowship. Soon after he founded the Lighthouse Tabernacle of Prayer in Apopka, Florida, building the church from the ground up. Bishop Davis is a leading voice in evangelizing Central Florida.

In 1991, after the death of Apostle Washington, God sent Bishop Davis to Pastor the Tabernacle of Prayer for all People, the Center of Hope, in downtown Jamaica, New York. He established Hope Hall Ministries, which provides the community with food, clothing and emergency services.

Bishop Davis diligently preaches the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ, the focal point of our ministry. He has also authored a book entitled “By Faith Alone,” and plans other literary works in the near future. It was God Himself who elevated him to the office of Bishop in August of 1998, in historic Charleston, SC. Since this elevation, Bishop Davis operates in various areas of the vineyard. His desire is to do all that the Lord requires him to do, and to finish his work.

Bishop Davis is the father of three adult children, Samuel, Sylvia and Jacqueline, and the grandfather of twin boys, Jason and Joshua.
